Dr. Tehseen Rug completed his PhD in theoretical physics at the Max Planck Institute and is a Senior Lead AI & Data Expert at iteratec.

He combines scientific depth with hands-on technological expertise. Specifically, he leads the development of innovative AI applications across various industries, bringing modern technologies and current scientific findings into practical use through production-ready software.

His expertise spans the entire value chain of AI development – from Data Science and Machine Learning to the productive integration of generative AI into software systems.

Alongside his work at iteratec, Dr. Tehseen Rug regularly publishes on AI and data analytics applications, including on ResearchGate. He has also consolidated his practical expertise in the book "When is it good enough? – Software Projects in the Age of Generative AI", co-authored with colleagues, which provides companies with concrete approaches to successfully delivering software projects with Generative AI.
